The Story of the Long Trip

Once upon a time (a time you remember) there was a child (a child you know) who went on a long trip to a magical place (a place you have been).

The trip started with walking. First one step, then another, one foot, then the other.

The child reached a bicycle and started to ride. First one pedal, then the other pedal, one pedal, then the other.

The bicycle made it to a car. The child started to drive. The car went a long way. First one tire, then the next tire, then the third tire and the last.

The car made it to a railroad station. The child got on a train. The train went a long, long way. First one track, then the other, one track, then the other.

The train made it to an airport. The child got on a plane. The plane went a long, long, long way. First one wing, then the other.

The plane made it to a rocket ship. The child got on board. It went a long, long, long, long way. First one star, then another star, then another star, then a galaxy and some planets and then another star.

The child made it all the way home.
